The collection is co-curated and introduced by the Global History of Capitalism project's Andrew Edwards, along with Peter Hill (Northumbria) and Juan Neves-Sarriegui (Oxford) and includes articles by Eric Hobsbawm, F. I. Israel, Robert Brenner, Guy Bois, Frank Perlin, Robert W. Patch, Chris Wickham, Adrian Graves, Inga Clendinnen, Maxine Berg and William H. Sewell, Jr.
